Many HMS researchers depend on digital molecular biology tools such as Snapgene for their daily work. Some electronic lab notebook (ELN) vendors, such as eLabNext, are beginning to include molecular biology tools in their ELN platforms.
HMS Research Computing (RC) is evaluating the molecular biology tools that have recently been added to eLabNext. Your input will be very helpful in this process! eLabNext is used by on-Quad laboratories and core facilities in the HMS Pilot ELN service. And eLabNext is available to on-Quad labs and cores interested in this pilot. Even if you are not yet using eLabNext, your feedback will be very helpful-- the demonstration can provide feedback on how RC can improve molecular biology tools and services, and provide helpful information for those interested in learning more about ELNs.
