Video quality degraded in HMS conference rooms

You may encounter problems such as video freezing, loss of audio, and poor video resolution during meetings in on-campus conference rooms equipped with Cisco-based touch panels. These issues do not affect every meeting, and typically, the quality of the meeting tends to improve on its own. However, this problem has been ongoing. HMS IT is actively collaborating with our colleagues at HUIT and representatives from Zoom and Cisco to find a solution to these video quality issues as quickly as possible. We will provide updates as soon as they are available. In the meantime, we recommend joining meetings using your laptop instead of the conference room's Cisco-based touch panel system to avoid these issues.
