To enhance your network experience, HMS IT will upgrade the network core and infrastructure in specific buildings on select dates. These upgrades will significantly improve speed, reliability, security, and future-proof our network.
As we update our infrastructure, these locations will experience brief network outages sometime between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM EST (UTC-5) on the following weekend dates:
- September 22, 2024 – HSDM campus
- October 6, 2024 – Laboratory for Human Reproduction and Reproductive Biology (LHRRB) and Seely G. Mudd (SGM)
- October 20, 2024 – HMS and HSDM campus
- November 3, 2024 – New Research Building (NRB)
To minimize any disruption, note the dates and times relevant to you and plan any work requiring continuous network connectivity outside of the 6:00 to 9:00 AM window.
