The Research Computing Core has arrived!
HMS Research Computing is excited to announce the start of the Research Computing (RC) Core as of July 2021, enabling Research Computing and HMS IT to provide billable services to the Harvard Medical School Affiliates. Currently, we are charging for Compute and Storage services on our O2 Computing Platform and HMS Storage system.
The goal of the RC Core is to promote deeper collaboration across the greater Harvard biomedical research ecosystem. This includes improved capabilities and performance by establishing more transparent and sustainable IT services for our research community. First invoices are scheduled to be sent out the week of October 18th, 2021.
