• Appear to be sent from a legitimate source, like a Harvard email address
• May include “System Maintenance” in the subject line
• Ask you to reset your HarvardKey password using a link in the email to prevent account deletion

To protect your accounts:

• Avoid interacting with or responding to this suspicious email.
• If you’ve shared your password, immediately take these steps to protect your account.
• Report suspicious messages by forwarding them to phishing@harvard.edu.
• Learn how to identify and respond to phishing attempts.
