Introducing Okta Verify for HMS accounts

To enhance security and simplify your sign-in experience, you can now use Okta Verify to sign in to your HMS account without entering a password.

To enable this feature, follow these instructions on setting up Okta Verify. This new capability for HMS accounts is in addition to recently announced changes to HarvardKey. You must set up Okta Verify for HMS accounts even if you have already set it up for HarvardKey.

We recommend that you set up Okta Verify even if you already use the Duo Mobile app for authentication. Although both authentication methods are available, Duo will be retired in the future.
