Expanded folder visibility on shared storage

As part of ongoing improvements to our storage systems, you may see an expanded list of shared folders when connecting to:

• standby.files.med.harvard.edu
• research.files.med.harvard.edu
• admin.files.med.harvard.edu

The appearance of additional folders does not mean users have access to their contents. Access permissions have not changed — users can only access files and folders for which they already have explicit permission.

No action is required. This is expected behavior due to backend storage improvements.
