
Lindsey Sudbury
As Managing Director of Education & Research Technology, Lindsey Sudbury supports strategy and engagement in the mission-facing areas of HMS. Her work focuses on empowering faculty, researchers, and educators by bridging the gap between technology and school outcomes. She leads the strategy and service delivery for the Research Computing, Research Technology Support, Secure Research, and Education Technology teams. Lindsey’s leadership focuses on shared vision setting, service management, mentorship, collaborative leadership, team building, and enabling science and education through streamlined IT operations. Before her current role, Lindsey served as the Assistant Chief Technology Officer for Strategy and Engagement at HMS IT.
Previously, Lindsey was Director of Academic Technologies at Northeastern University, where she navigated challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic by expanding training programs and reconfiguring services to support faculty and students. These initiatives not only responded to immediate needs but also laid the groundwork for long-term enhancements in educational technology integration. She also led Northeastern’s transition from Blackboard to Canvas, a move that facilitates better learning outcomes and greater engagement with students.
Lindsey holds a B.A. in English from Brandeis University and an M.A. in English from the University of Florida.
