With a Master's in Bioinformatics, Alex has been working at Harvard Medical School since 2015 to assist researchers with scaling their work and acclimate them to using the O2 cluster. He also teaches introductory Python seminars each semester to aspiring data analysts in the user community, and is interested in tailoring the curriculum to researcher interests. He also has a vested interest in the cluster software offerings, as chief architect and one of the primary maintainers of the current O2 application library.
In his spare time (or lack thereof), Alex is also "that tech guy who can probably help" in his extended family.
