Utilize repair services
HMS IT offers free repair services for Harvard-owned HP printers, as well as Apple computers and Dell computers still under warranty.
In some cases, HMS IT may be able to facilitate an out-of-warranty repair, in which case a billing code would be required. Departments maintain financial responsibility for out-of-warranty repairs.

Eligibility
Students, staff, and faculty can have HMS IT repair their hardwareHarvard-owned Apple, Dell, HPHarvard-owned laptops and desktop computers covered under the manufacturer's warranty are eligible for repair by HMS IT technicians. If an out-of-warranty repair is recommended, departments are responsible for the cost of parts. Students, staff, and faculty can utilize partnered services for personal computer repairs.
