Available for HMS "On Quad" Labs and HMS Affiliate Hospital/Institution LabsFaculty ResearchersLabs whose PI has a primary or secondary faculty appointment in an HMS Blavatnik Institute Basic or Social Science Department will not be charged for use of O2 or storage resources.
Labs whose PIs do not have a primary or secondary faculty appointment in an HMS Blavatnik Institute Basic or Social Science Department will be charged for use of HMS High-Performance Computing and storage resources. Security
Harvard Security Level 3 or belowConfidentiality Data securityO2 can be used for storing and analyzing data that is Harvard Security Level 3 or below. The O2 cluster is not HIPAA compliant. It cannot be used for storing personally identifiable genetic information or personally identifiable healthcare information; these are both are considered Harvard Data Security Level 4. All data processed on O2 must be de-identified.
