How to connect to HMS wireless
Harvard Secure
Harvard Secure is already widely available at the Cambridge location and the HMS campus, providing users access to a secure network connection protected by encryption and firewall. If you have not already done so, register your device to connect to Harvard Secure by following these steps:
If on campus:
- Connect to the HMS Guest wireless network
- Select Register your wireless device and follow the prompts to install the certificate and connect
- Sign in with your HMS account ID and password
- Restart computer
If off-campus:
- Go to the wireless registration page
- Select Sign in
- Follow the prompts to install the certificate and connect
After your device is registered and you have installed the required SecureW2 certificate, you will see the HMS
wireless profile in your Wi-Fi settings. This profile will allow you to connect to Harvard Secure and eduroam.
HMS Guest
If you are on campus:
1. Connect to the HMS Guest wireless network
2. Follow the prompts to register as a guest
3. Check your email inbox for confirmation to complete the registration.
