A consultant HSR is an individual providing consulting services, either independently or through a firm. For example:
- A sole-proprietor technology consultant advising Harvard.
- An employee of a consulting firm engaged on a project at Harvard.
- An independent contractor approved through HR.
Consultant with a Harvard sign consulting agreement either as an independent contractor or with a consulting firm. Although it is not required to attach the executed consulting agreement to the HSR portal, the department can be asked to provide a copy during an HSR audit.
