Cost
Prices for installation, activation, and repair- Network jack installation – Two data jacks: $600, Four data jacks: $775
- Network jack activation – No cost
- Network jack repair – No cost (exceptions for cable replacements)
Network jack activation and most repairs are free of charge. There may be a cost in rare cases where network cabling requires replacement. Installation of new jacks incus a fee, with prices as listed.

How to request this serviceTo install or repair a network jack, submit a work order by completing the request form. The following information is required:
- A 33-digit Harvard account billing code number (for new jack installations only)
- The building, room number, and jack location
