To ensure the continued security of our computing environment, HMS IT will deploy a new desktop notification to computers managed by HMS that are still running Windows 10.
In the coming days, users with Windows 10 devices will see their desktop wallpaper automatically change to display an alert informing them that HMS IT no longer supports Windows 10 and that they must upgrade to Windows 11. A QR code will direct them to Microsoft support documentation on upgrading.
This visual notification is a legitimate communication from HMS IT intended to prevent service interruptions associated with unsupported software.

Windows 10 is unsupported
Upgrade to Windows 11 now
This device is running an unsupported operating system.
Scan the QR code for instructions from Microsoft on how to upgrade to Windows 11.
