To provide you with the latest tools and features, HMS IT now supports macOS Sequoia, Apple's newest operating system.

 We continue to support macOS Ventura and Sonoma, but if Apple lists your computer as compatible, we recommend upgrading to macOS Sequoia for the latest features and enhanced security. Follow Apple's instructions on upgrading macOS.

 macOS Sequoia introduces Apple Intelligence, an enhancement to Siri that uses generative AI. Before using Apple Intelligence, review the Initial guidelines for the use of Generative AI tools at Harvard.

While Apple and developers have addressed most compatibility issues, check the support websites for critical applications to confirm compatibility before upgrading. If compatibility requires you to stay on Ventura or Sonoma, ensure your device is updated to the latest version of those systems to meet HMS IT security requirements.
