Don’t upgrade to macOS Sequoia until further notice

To prevent potential disruptions, we strongly recommend not upgrading to macOS Sequoia when Apple releases it on Monday, September 16, 2024.

While our security guidance requires timely installation of updates that address security vulnerabilities, macOS Sequoia is a feature upgrade and does not fall under this requirement. Major feature releases often introduce bugs affecting critical applications, so we recommend waiting to install this upgrade until we can confirm stability, likely in December or January.

If Apple prompts you to upgrade, disregard the notification for now. If you must upgrade sooner, contact us first so we can verify application compatibility and minimize downtime.
