Generative AI has new uses across research, education, and daily work — but the right tool depends on your data. Get to know what HMS IT supports and what you can safely share with each tool.
Avoid entering confidential data (Level 2 and above) into a publicly available AI tool. Information shared with generative AI tools using default settings is not private and could expose proprietary or sensitive information.
HMS IT supports three tools approved for data up to Level 3:
- AI Sandbox — Create content and compare models. Available to Quad-based faculty, staff, and MD/DMD students. To get started, request access and take a training.
- ChatGPT Edu — Generate text and images or use custom GPTs. To see if your use case qualifies, request access.
- Adobe Firefly — Generate images. Available to Adobe Creative Cloud users. To get started, sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud and open Adobe Firefly.
