Sarah collaborates with faculty, staff, and researchers to better understand, manage, classify, and organize research data throughout the data lifecycle to improve data organization across the institution. She also serves as a subject matter expert on data management, providing consultation and instructive services to labs on the creation and implementation of data storage plans, collaborating with other HMS IT groups to establish well-defined data management workflows.
Sarah earned a dual masters degrees in Archives and Records Management (M.S.) and History (M.A) from the School of Library and Information Science at Simmons University. Prior to her employment at Harvard Medical School, Sarah worked as an Archivist and Records Manager for the City of Somerville's Parks department.
Sarah is a frequent traveler (and ex-flight attendant) who has visited over 40 countries.
