The Windows 7 operating system is now end-of-life. Upgrade to Windows 10!

The Windows 7 operating system went end-of-life January, 14, 2020.  This means Microsoft will no longer fix security flaws discovered in Windows 7 after this date. Continuing to use Windows 7 after that time will expose you, and everyone you work, with to significantly increased risks.

What should I do?

If any of the computers you use still have Windows 7, contact your local IT support representatives or the IT Service Desk immediately to schedule your upgrade to Windows 10. Instructions for finding out which operating system you’re using: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13443/windows-which-version-am-i-running

Who can help me?

Please contact the HMS IT Service Desk at 617-432-2000 or itservicedesk@hms.harvard.edu with any concerns or questions.
